If some troubles occure on your computer when viewing data, check and correct the settings following these instructions.

Common technical information

These pages are designed for internet browser Google Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, Firefox and Edge and they are optimized for screen resolution 1920x1080 or higher. When using different internet browser it is possible, that some graphic elements are not displayed correctly and the function of the pages may be restricted. This can be case of Internet Explorer (we do not recommend to use this browser). If you use this browser, please ensure, that you use last available version and that some special functions (eg. compatibility mode, emulation) are disabled.

Tip: Recommended screen resolution

If the windows, images or maps are larger than your screen, check the resoltion setting on your computer. Recommended resolution is 1920x1080 or higher. Current settings you get clicking on

Apart from the interactive data browsing, you can find also documents and data for downloading here. Texts are mostly in “pdf” (Adobe Acrobat) or “doc/docx” (Microsoft Word) format, images in formats “png” or “jpg”, data for downloading in formats “shp” (Shapefile ArcView) and “txt” or “dbf” (tabelar data). Only basic formats are mentioned here, the pages can contain also other formats. Find links to free sofware for working with these documents lower on this page.

Necessary condition for correct function of the pages is JavaScript enabled.

On the following picture, there is sample of access to the settings in the Google Chrome browser. Settings for JavaScript are available in the “Settings” (1) under “Privacy and security” link (2). The picture shows the permission of JavaScript enabled (3).


Complementary information for TGM WRI, p. r. i., intranet users

If you cannot connect to intranet make sure, that you do not use proxy server for connection. Proxy server settings are configured directly in the operating system of your computer (via Control Panels), or directly in the web browser.

To set the proxy server in the operating system (the example is for Windows 10) Click on the “Start” button (1), then proceed by clicking the “Settings” (2), in the window (3) select “Network and Internet” (4). In the window that appears (5), select the “Proxy server” (6). Make sure that you select the “Bypass proxy server for local addresses” (7).

Proxy server settings can also be set separately in a web browser (only selected web browsers). In Firefox, select in main menu (1) item “Options” (2). Then select items “Advanced” (3) and “Network” (4). After click on the button “Settings” (5) set in the shown dialog box the proxy server settings, according to the operating system settings (6), or set them directly manually.
