Welcome to the website of the project “Use of innovative methods in the eradication of invasive crayfish in the Czech Republic”.

The project thematically follows on from previous projects “Prediction of threats posed by non-native fish and crayfish and optimization of eradication methods for invasive species” (project TH02030687 supported by Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, solved in years 2017 to 2020) and “Monitoring of NATURA 2000 sites as a tool for effective management and conservation of autochthonous crayfish” (project EHP-CZ02-OV-1-007-2014 supported by EEA Grants, solved in years 2015 and 2016).

Work on the project is planned for the period from 1. March 2022 to 30. April 2024. Project information, current information on the progress of work and implementation of results can be found on this site. The pages are continuously updated during the project and their availability will be ensured even after the end of the project.
